If you recently replaced a Brother DR-820 drum and your printer is still instructing you to replace it, there is probably nothing wrong with your drum, but it might need to be reset. Follow these easy steps to reset it:
- Make sure the printer is on
- On the LED Display, Press “Settings” (picture of wrench), Select “All Settings”, Scroll down to “Machine Info” Select “Parts Life”
- Press and hold [Drum] until the touchscreen message changes
- Press [Yes]
- Press [Home]
