The following instructions will work in these printers:
HP Color LaserJet Pro 3201-3204, 3288, MFP 3301-3304, 3388 printers.
It’s time to replace the toner cartridges when the levels are too low and no longer produce good print quality. The following steps will walk you through how to remove the used cartridges and install the replacements.
- Grip the cartridge access door and pull it open.
2. Grip the blue handle on the toner cartridge drawer, and then pull out the drawer towards you.
3. Grip the handle on the toner cartridge, and then pull the toner cartridge straight up to remove it.
4. Remove the new cartridge from the package and remove any protective covers and strips. Gently rock the cartridge at the sides, up and down to distribute the toner evenly inside the cartridge.
NOTE: To prevent damage to the cartridge, hold the cartridge at each end. Make certain not to touch the protective cover or roller surface.
5. Install the new toner cartridge. Make sure to match the color on the cartridge to the color on the drawer.
6. Close the toner cartridge drawer.
7. Close the cartridge access door.
