If you have the new HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3201dw, 3301fdw, or 3301sdw printer and are using toner cartridges without chips, you will have to go through a few steps to get the chips installed from your original HP genuine toners. Please note that your cartridges will not work without chips. When installing chips, be sure to install the chip from black toner onto black toner, cyan onto cyan, magenta onto mangeta, and yellow onto yellow. Also, make sure not to scratch the chip as it might not work. Watch this helpful video to learn how to change the chips. This applies for the following toners:
