The remaining life of the toner can be viewed through the Control Panel or by printing the Printer Settings page. NOTE: If the display shows a Replace Toner message, you will not be able to print the Printer Settings page.
How to view through the Control Panel:
- Press the OK button. The LCD display will show Machine Info. Press OK.
- Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key to select Parts Life. Press OK.
- Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key to select Toner Life. Press OK.
- Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key to select which color toner you want to check. Press OK.
How to print the Printer Settings page:
- Make sure that the top cover is closed and the power cord is plugged in.
- Turn on the printer and wait until the printer is in the Ready state.
- Press the OK button three times. The printer will print the current printer settings page. The toner life information is on page 2.
